Any recommended tuner shops in or near Addison?

Coming from Socal, yes Randy, I do like Socal, I'm used to a tuner shop / sq. mile. Been here for a year, where are they, other than Grubbs, which is a half hour away???

Not really a traditional shop anymore, but more wholesale...you can check out Top Speed Auto Accessory in Addison. Their product line is Pro-1, which you can see from my sig, is where most of my equipment is from. They have quite a few parts for the G35. Intake, exhaust, headers, test pipes, Y-pipe, camber arms, and they have cams under development as well.

You can also try Velocity...not sure where their shop is. 972-389-9877

I understand if you work there.

Been here most of my life and like the downtown and mockingbird/75 areas the best. Everytime I'm in Addison, it's like the hub for fake people in Dallas. Home to the 50k millionaires and such, real fake women too, tons of gold diggers.

No offense though, none at all.

Thanks for the advice, guys. I'll be checking those out this week.

If you learn to tune out the 50k-ers/30k-ers, Addison is great. There's always a happy hour going on, restaurants, free gym (to all Addison residents), and yes, location. Plus, if you want to drive over to Mockingbird, uptown, etc, you get to zip around a decent freeway interchange (Tollway-635), as I've learned in my ever-long search to replace canyon driving.

I can show where some roads are to push the car if you want. I'll want to ride my bike, but you are welcome to tag along. There are good twisty roads about 30 minutes from Addison. They aren't canyons but decent enough.

Yeah they do, just not nearly as concentrated as Addison.

As you said, we agree, same reason I don't live in either area. I can only take so much of the vaunted life style .

Would love to know where those roads are! I'm only in town for another month before I move back, so not much time to head over there left... Where are you talking about?

Is Top Speed in Addisson any good? I've heard they're poor quality knockoffs? Was particularly interested in their headers for a 2004 G35 sedan...

Thanks!

nice thread revival. They have good products, most of us are on their coilovers. For the price you pay they are great.

i was particularly interested in their headers and y-pipe. i heard from someone at a tuner shop that they're low-quality knockoffs? i mean their y-pipe is 179+tax and the Ichiba is $219 shipped. But their headers are way cheap compared to let's say Tomei, but they look very similar?!
Sorry, just want to make sure I'm not put in poor quality parts...
