Long time no see.. No plans for a dyno day yet, maybe when it cools off.

Last night we had 18 people and 13 cars, the weather was great and it was another good meet. Next meet here at Pasados on Sept. 8th 2005.

We discussed our location for October. Goldfingers Greek Restaurant in Dallas. Good food and Belly Dancing.... Mark your calendars for this event and plan to bring your family. Friday 10/14/05

 

Nice turn out. Very enviable rides and very cool owners to talk to. I'll apologize in advance to those few I talked to because most likely I won't remember names. I'm horrible about that. Looking forward to attending more meets.

Me for one was glad no sh#t stirred up .... it was good to see you out at the meet. Your car is a beast .... I mean that in a good way. Once again thanks for meeting me out at the Velocity Performance meet after our meet. It's not fun to show up to someplace new when you don't know anyone.

Hey it was a great time last night. It was my first meet and I doubt it will be my last. Thanks to all for welcoming another G into the group. I will most likely forget everyone's name because I am a guy and that 's what guys do...they forget stuff.

Yeah....about that Vette in my group......Last night on the way how from Velocity the clutch blew apart on the Tollway and caused an engine fire. Long story short it got put out and towed to the dealership...I didn't know it was possible to blow up a clutch and hydraulic pressure plate in 1600 miles!!!!!! No one was hurt but that car was putting down 430 or so wheel on the stock clutch so not really surprised. I'll keep you up on that one. LOL.

Back to the topic at hand though. I had a great time and I hope to attend many more meetings with the group in the future.

My wife just brought a G35 Coupe. Hopefully we can make it to the next meet at Posados.

 

ATTENTION ALL MEMBERS. Sept 2nd, there are two events going on that will both meet up at the same place. The National FX club will be meeting for a full weekend of FUN. One of their adventures will bring them to the Texas Motorplex on Friday, Sept 2nd. I will be going directly to the drag strip to run with them but can not make the whole weekend. If anyone want to join either event (in its entirety or in part), sign up in the appropriate threads that are STICKIED.
