Played for a few hours at Winstar casino yesterday...won about $50 (2 lapdances & beer!).

 

Where is this Winstar casino you speak of???

 

It's at the TX/OK border...right at exit 1 off I-35. About an hour north of Dallas. It's a lot closer to go than Shreveport.

 

that place is evil, the last time i went i won 210 at the table then lost that and more casino are bad

 

HEY GUYS! What better time than to have this at my house...it could be a G meet/poker party...my brother is moving down here in a few weeks and is a poker player...I'm not much of one, but I have a cuz in the area that is too...you guys could either crash at my place or stay at the hotel right down the street...HOTELS not MOTELS. Let me know what you think. We can make it a DIY/BBQ/Poker day and start real early on a Saturday...that way if some want to drive home later in the evening, they can...1 1/2 hour drive to Dallas from my house. Let me know and we'll work out the details.

As far as the DIY part goes, I have a racing jack and rhino ramps but no jack stands...lets DO THIS!

 

Sounds like fun. It's such a long drive maybe we can make it an official Road Trip Day.

 

Yeah, I could meet everyone in the DFW area...then we could all caravan up to my house, have our fun and be merry!

Agenda would be something like this:

8am: Meet
8:30am: Drive to Randy's
10am: Arrive after leisurely cruise to Glen Rose
10:30am: Meet everyone
11am: start any DIY projects people bring
12pm: eat some BBQ (burgers and dogs maybe)
1:30pm: go for another cruise in my area
3pm: return and relax and enjoy eachothers company
5-6pm: start pokers game and eat more...

of course, it will vary off course, but that's just an idea...also, if some want, they could bring any X-Box or other game system (since I'm not into them and don't own one) and hook them up in the livingroom. We'll just make a day of it...GF and wifes would be invited...we could get some margaritas going and it would be BYOB for those that want beer...Melissa could even bring her kid since I have a 4 yr old he could play with...

I think I'll have to start an official thread for people to sign up...does anyone have any suggestions on dates? It would have to be after this Saturday coming up...I'm doing a Car And Driver event in Arlington...Their RIDE and DRIVE event is awesome and I was invited...

Randy, if you're talking about the 19th as a possible date. That would be perfect!! My brake kit should be in by then and that would be cool to do it there.
