Quote: I thought the rule of thumb was 20% of value back so if you put in 10,000 you would only get 2,000 on top of the value of the car.
Then that's about right...everyone else is offering the same car without the mods with the same mileage for around 29-31k...I got 33,900 so I'm in there.

No I shouldn't have...no one out here to part it out...would have cost too much and it would have offset the balance...did my research first...sorry to see me go too.

I would have bought the grill and plenum spacer, Josey would have bought the rims, Mark would have probably bought your suspension.

I never saw a "anyone interested in my parts" type post here in the DFW forum so ... *shrug*

Will, if I would have taken all of the cosmetic items off of the car, it would just have been another SC'ed stock G and the value would have gone down. Anyway, what's done is done.

Yeah, he said he'd send me a $2000 deposit in the mail and then pay me the dif when he picked it up and then never returned my calls or emails...almost 2 weeks have gone by.

He was all talk. He couldn't put his money where his mouth was. We should track him down and beat him up.

Here's the worse part...

When he bought the car, he bought it under a different username
(nuova_moda) because he said he didn't want his customers to see that he bought
such an expensive car and think he was ripping them off. The problem
with filing a complaint under the name he bought it with is he doesn't
use that account anymore so no one will see that he's a cheat. I have
personal emails that shows him saying that he's going to use that
account instead of his biz (customgolfcenter) ebay account. Is there anyway
to put the complaint in against that username? Is there a number I can
call to explain this to a live person? Filing a complaint against an
account he no longer uses will do nothing and I was charged sellers fees
for an item he never purchased.

I've filed a complaint with eBay and told them all of this, but can't relist the car until 8 days from when I filed has passed. This sucks...

I wouldn't bother trying to get this guy on his other username...just file the complaint on the name he used and move on.

What if you're his next victim...wouldn't you have wanted to know?
