Slicks for G35

I would like to run slicks for the track but don't know what fits on the 05 G35. Anybody know what rims size, tire size, etc.

Drag radials or full slicks? If you want DR's BF Goodrich makes I think 2 sizes that will fit an 18" wheel although with the 05 you probably have the 19's. I think one of teh earlier RX 7 17's fit and many guys use those with DR's.

Buy a set of 90-96 300ZX 16X8 rims (very light, 16lbs) and a set of 26" M&H slicks. That is the popular setup for the Z crowd. Just makes sure to have an extra half-shaft available because if you launch these cars too hard with too much traction, they can shear a half-shaft instantly.

Diesel1 = I was thinking about running full slicks. What do you suggest on brand and size, etc.

DaveB = If I get the same rims and slicks that fits on the Z, will that bolt on my G with no problem?

i would recommend if you are NA, 15X8 weld prostars 96 then i would say to get the 26X8.5 MT drags,

i was pulling 1.63 on nitrous and 1.70-1.72s all motor... with these

any bigger and you will be too low in 4th gear,

if you are FI or nitrous, i would recommend getting a 28 inch tires so your gearing will be perfect in 4th gear till mid to high 120s..
