I ran a 14.2 with my 03 5AT with a 3/4 tank of gas and all season tires (Toyo Proxes4) .

 

yea its faster than the other stock AT coupes out here, raced my friends 07 sedan i lost to him by half a car and we went all the way to 130.

next mod is gonna b resonated test pipes n headers. my friend hasnt time his G yet, but its the redesign one 2007.5, i m takin him in a couple of weeks. n yea my 60ft and trap speed werent impressive cuz this was my first time drag racing, hopefully better numbers next time .

 

What would be the difference in the 1/4 mile between an auto and an mt? I would think .1 or .2. Anyone have numbers on that?

 

.1 or .2? theres no way at all, MT's have higher hp anyways so the 1/4 times would be lower, they have better gear ratios, and they can launch way harder than an auto car. im talking stock for stock.

To the OP, those times are very nice. I could only imagine what you would have done with a 6MT (rev-up), with a better 60ft (and shifting). 13's!

But too many people like myself still need alot to learn with 6MT's at the track . The consistency of my 60ft is horrible.

thanks for the props, hopefully with test pipes and an aggressive launch hopin to break into 13's and that was my first time at the track, plannin on goin next week n my friends 05 coupe with nismo cai, i have beaten him on the street plenty of times and all i got is a ztube and k&n drop in

 

my friends 05 at coupe with nismo intake pulled a 14.6, isnt that a little too slow n we removed the bypass valve from the intake as well
