I'm assuming you're getting the car re-tuned after the HFC?

Did Sam have any feedback on a JWT clutch & flywheel? Just curious...

Actually, he doesn't think it's necessary to re-tune after the HFC's. Once I do the spacer and meth injection, I will definitely re-tune. I did ask about the JWT clutch/flywheel combo and he actually recommended going with the Exedy clutch/flywheel. He feels it will work better with my car.

I don't really know what the DA means if someone could help me out I don't know if it makes a difference adjusting your times. These were my first runs ever, and first time ever being at a track. I'm on the right on all 3 runs.

Damn, I can't wait till October for the Street Legal drags in Fontana here is Cali. I already have my DR's and my HFC's and clutch/flywheel are coming very soon.

Man i wish i was back home... i stayed right off Rancho in Colton... yeah i hope to run better times after the summer... plus my car was heat soaked and the humidity down here in texas is crazy! Got to get some DR's first... Good luck Hexx

 

Believe me, I know how you feel bro. When I ran at LACR last month, it was horrible. The combination of the heat, humidity, wind, dusty track, stock clutch and spinning tires resulted in horrendous times. But everyone was running like crap so I didn't feel too bad. There was an Evo there that was bad a$$! He told me that he should be running 11's and possibly 10's . . . . on that night, he ran mid 13's. That's how bad it was. But cooler temps and better grip should get me some nice times!
