going to track in the morning, what should i expect

Im headed to the track with my 03 coupe in the morning and just wanted to see what you guys think i should expect to see out of it....

I have nismo cold air, greddy evo 2 exhaust, auto tranny, 295/30 ps2 tires. also my gas light is on and its 40 miles away so hopefully ill be almost out to put race gas in it, or is even worth the difference in gas... have 93 octane in it anyways..

its only an 1/8 mile track, closet 1/4 mile is over 3 hrs...

im thinking 9 flat or maybe high 8's

High 9's at 75mph for the first couple of runs, with a best of 9.4@76mph.

It would be a waste. The car isn't going to be running enough timing to take advantage of the octane.

Stick with the 93, and good luck.

thanks for the info, in my 03 350z with headers, kinetix hi flo cats, nismo catback, nismo cold air, and slammed to ground on tein coilovers. I ran a 8.964, with a 60' of 2.051. da was 3086 with your density calculator.... what would that have been in a 1/4?

That's good for a 13.8 flat. What was your trap speed then? And was that an automatic as well?

I smell a reason to go to the beach. Where is this track near the coast? I see the OP is from Panama City so I'm guessing not too far from there.

Alright, you call it on most all of our times at the track, dyno pulls, and you usually quote the TV announcers *before* they say something - can we at least limit the creepy predictions to the people we actually KNOW.

also i ran the a/c of full on two of my runs and it didnt affect my time at all. my second fastest was actually with a/c on.... thought that was suppossed to hurt the horsepower and e/t?
