How much you think ill run,,

I was wondering, how much do you think i will run a 1/4 mile, so that i would know if i would have to put on a helmet or not,,

I have 03.5 sedan 5at

JWT popcharger, z tube,

5/16 spacer

Resonated test pipes,

Nismo y pipe, coupe midpipe, and aftermarket muffler,,

ohh also im planning to take out the passenger seat and rear seats,,

Also what do you guys think is it worth it to add racing fuel,, ??

I doubt you will need a helmet until you are faster than 13.99

I'm gonna guess that you'll probably run anywhere from a 14.6 to 14.2

Not worth it for the racing fuel at this time.

Here are the time for SAC Raceway:

You can check against like models, but a quick check didn't show any on the roster.

Just find out what your car does stock and then subtract about .3 seconds for your mods.

Depends a lot on conditions, elevation, temperature at time of runs, etc. There is a thread on here with 1/4 mile times and it lists what mods each person has when they ran what they ran. You might want to check that out and compare your mods to theirs to give you a better idea of what you'll run.

Kansas City International Raceway requires you to wear a helmet no matter how fast or slow you are It all depends on the track.

If you've never raced before, then I'd say 14.5-14.7. If you've raced before, then I'd say 14.2-14.4. Sacramento Raceway is a decent track.

That's a very good estimate. Track conditions and your 60' will make or break you.

if there is good track prep, good weather, <2.1 60's, good driving skills, you should see low to mid 14s with your mods.

i ran at commerce in georgia with just a ztube/popcharger and ran 14.6 with a 2.3 60'. i think i should be able to run 14.4 or 14.3 with 2.1s. with his mods and a good launch he should be able to get 14.2. i'm 5at as well.

Most tracks use NHRA rules, which require a helmet at 13.99 or lower
