faster 0-60?

Hi, I noticed that typical 0-60 times for G35s are roughly around 5.5sec's or so. What can you do to the G35 to make that 5.5 0-60 to 5 or lower 0-60?

Also I was wondering what affect does mileage on the engine have on the car? Ive never completely understood that, all I hear from my parents is that the mileage determines the AGE of the car. So im wondering, performance wise what affect does the milage have

im just going to guess it's more prone to break.. and if the parts aren't well maintained, it probably loses some hp and performance

Throw on some wider rear tires, intake, exhaust, nice tune should get you high 4s. The more miles your car has the better it will perform up to a certain point. After 50k miles your going to start to see a decline depending on how you treated your car. if you want better 0-100 or 0-150mph go FI

This is the Drag racing forum, not benchracing forum. I don't think drag racers really pay attention to "0-60"... the only "60" we pay attention to is our 60 footer

.

So you're saying after 50k miles on the car, it practically begins to suck? WOW...thats...really short. Might as well drive a towing truck with your G35 on the back of it >< HAHA hmm whats FI?

FI = forced induction such as turbo or supercharger

He forgot to mention that he has one of these installed...

I pulled 4.8 seconds on street tires in late July with a supercharger, for what it's worth. Turbos are gonna make you fly to 60 faster though, much more torque, no parasitic loss from driving an SC and you'll hit full boost faster since they're dependent on exhaust flow.

to 'maarc', yes there is such a thing as a driver mod its more of a figure of speech but it means you need a talented driver to make

those times consistently. oh yeah, 0-60 = t3h ghey. 40-120 is what matters.

40-120 huh? hmm but doesn't 40-120 require the same parts needed as being quick from 0-60? Or is there "more" needed to be quick for that?
