13.538 @ 101.58 ///1.991
I don't know if you guys have seen this but it is impressive times in the quarter. The car is a bone stock sedan, running factory tires, and an automagic. This was at Houston Raceway Park

I love HRP. It's a freaking awesome track and it's damn quick. My old 94 Z28 was over .3 seconds and 2mph faster there IN HOTTER weather than my best up here in Kansas City in the dead of fall. The conditions down there rock, especially in the winter. There's nothing freakish about that car or the driver. It's purely the track. On most any other track, that's a 13.8-14.0 car. You run what you run though and props to whoever that is.

Nice! This time of year in Houston will provide awesome weather you will see stellar times. The driver seemed to take it easy with the shifts, I think there's more in it

Calculated DA for that day was 1,700' below sea leve!!! Lucky SOB!

1.20.08
Houston, TX (sea level)
Temp: mid to upper 40s
Baro: 30.56
Dew point: 23 degrees

Talk about ideal conditions. For those that don't understand air density and why racing in the right conditions is key, the air density was a whopping 105% and the engine was making 109% power. A stock VQ35HR makes about 265whp. In these conditions, the motor was making more like 289whp! Free air mod

Proof that conditions play a HUGE roll in the way a car performs.

I gotta say that is flat out awesome. Buy a mid 30k sports sedan, automatic, take delivery, drive to your local track, and run a 13.5.

It took me almost 2.5 years to run a 13.5. Very nice.

VERY impressive. That's faster than most any 60's/70's muscle car, if I'm not mistaken.

Wow! That's definitely impressive. Just curous.. did you do the ECU reflash or did it have the original ECU program with the aggressive throttle?

Last year i went up with the Trailblazer and pulled a 15.6@87mph. Now gonna try with the new Gs (the 08 and 04)
