Finally went to track and first time launching this car. A little disappointed with the slow times compared to everyone else here being all stock. What confuses me is why my best time had the slowest trap speed out of all my runs? I know i can knock off .1 - .2 sec off if i work on my launch and lowered the tire pressure, but what rpm is everyone launching at? Are you guys dumping the clutch or slipping it? Also does it make a difference lifting off the gas between shifts then speed shifting?

Your trap speeds seem a little low. Sacramento Raceway is a very nice track and u should trap close to 100mph with a 6mt.
Everybody has their personal preference as far as the launch goes but the general way to do a consistent launch is start with 3k rpm and semi slip the clutch. It takes practice and many runs under ur belt to do this consistently.

Good luck.
