I highly doubt thats true.

you can get a CF hood, CF bumper, CF fenders, and CF doors, and a CF trunk. Thats pretty much it for carbon fiber I guess.

Other than that you can strip down your interior to bare metal if you want.

If you don't want to go with extreme messures then just take out your spare tire, rear bench seats. Take out all unncessary things that dont need to be in the G for a race. Last, go on low fuel.. Every gallon of gas weighs 6 pounds. Last time i went to the track I had my fuel light on.. I got in about 7 runs and that was enough to even get me off the track and about 8 miles to the next gas station.

You might want to get ready for people coming on here and telling you that his car is not an integra so dont go with weight reduction.

get your flame suit on.

from my experience every 150-200 lb shaves off 0.2 seconds from ET. Not sure about the trap speed though. I tested this on a 2004 nissan Maxima which has the same motor as ours.

Its for every 100lbs is a 1/10th of a second. and no taking out the back seat and jack and spare tire wont really make a difference...unless you really know how to drive. not worth it IMO.
