i did, just waiting on alex dude to put them in the list
i couldnt launch higher than 1700 or so. it would just spin after that. so in all reality i was coming off the line at just a few hundred rpm over idle. i would say in between 1300-1600.
Man if i had some stickies i could launch as high as the torque converter can stall. 2 tenths at least pulled off the time.
lol, that was random as hell. i would like to run him again sometime. this time with a 3 honk start. he might still win, but that thing was spoolin its butt off. i think he pulled a half car or so from 50-90 if i remember correctly with him in front of me a carlength at the start.

Scott's (Rekko on here) is from SoCal and he pulled a 13.6 on his stock G sedan, so it's definitely doable. The key is getting a good launch and getting enough traction to get your 60 ft time to around 2.0, or even below, since every tenth you can gain in 60 ft time equates to around 2 tenths gain at the end of the 1/4 (note: this is rule of thumb and not exact). Scott's getting some drag radials now and is hoping to get down below 13.5 pretty much stock, so we'll have to see how he does.

His is an auto.
You are absolutely correct. If the track prep sucks or if some on layed down some oil, then your not gonna be able to hook up and no metter what you do your times will be bad. Track prep, avoiding the water pit, and driving / experience are all VERY impotant to getting good 60 ft times, which is essential to having a good 1/4 mile time... if your 60 ft time sucks, then your just gonna be playing catch-up for the entire run.

for this trip...
2.0 60ft got a 13.5 @ 103=best grip
2.1 60ft got a 13.6 @ 104=moderate grip some slip
2.2 60ft got a 13.7 @ 105=all slip no grip
see how it all relates. your car has a set amount of power. the variables of speed and time change almost predictably based upon the grip in the first 60feet.
