275/35-18 DFG drag radials on OEM 18x8" rim
It would fit but that is a huge tire for an 8" rim. 275mm is honestly the largest I would go for a drag set up. I wouldn't daily drive a set up like that 265 on an 8" rim will likely give you the same contact patch. The centers would wear out quick on a wide tire with narrow rim, DRs wear a little more even on a narrow wheel because they are run at about 20-25psi.
I was wondering what could be the best setup. I take the G once in a while to the strip but i drive it a lot more obv. I was wondering if 285/35/18 would be ok, but 275/35/18 is better from what you say. On the front i was thinking on running 245/35/18. What do you recommend?
Not sure if ayone is still looking for a good set up but i have 245 50 15 goodyear drag radials on jeggs racing wheels that i'm looking to sell . sold the car so i have no use for the weels. only 3... 1/4 mile passes and a couple 1/8 ... mile passes. ran 12.3 in the quarter with a 1.9 60 foot. want to list on this sight but there is not a spot to list this size rim. were on my 06 6mt. Several other people on this sight run this set up .
