woohoo...on my way to 13's...hopefully.

My car bone stock ran a 15.0@92mph. I went on to install a custom cat back exhaust and a spacer and ran 14.6@96mph. Well today I went to try out my new header/testpipe combo and ran a 14.3@98mph. According to dragtimes.com's DA calculator my car should have run 14.1@100mph.

My car was just as quick as a modded 6MT coupe that was there ( he also ran 14.3@98mph a few times ).

Hopefully with a tune and some weight reduction I can get into the 13's N/A.

Yea the tune will definitely get you 13s, good job man. I am headed down the same route as you!

Tell me more about your exhaust, I am in the market for something custom and have had my eye on some magnaflow pieces.

Very nice numbers. You also have the 03 which is impressive as well for it, being that they have lower HP then 05+. So with the newer models and the same mods, 13s is a sure thing.

Also no pulley? Going to use Cobbtuning?

Thanks guys!

I have Edge Racing Headers, 2.25" test pipes, 2.25" to 2.5" y-pipe and 2.5" exhaust. The exhaust has a 2.5" magnaflow straight through muffler in the middle and a 3" magnaflow straight through muffler in the rear.

It's very loud at wot but at part throttle I think it's nice.

Hopefully I can get the Osiris tuner software.

Congrats on the runs and your car is showing improvement. Where is this track though? I ran 14.3s@98mph in my 03 5AT with a Z-tube. I would have thought you'd be quicker.

I live in Puerto Rico where unfortunetely it's very humid all year around and the coldest it even gets is high 60's/low 70's. My calculated DA was for a 14.1@100mph though, I don't know how that compares to your car. Heck...mine ran 15.0@92 stock..lol.

Reaction times do not affect 1/4 miles times. You can be 3 seconds at the light and still get a 14.4.

As for 13.7 bone stock...I'd have to agree that I don't see how that is possible. Unless it's an HR with great 60ft times at 0 deg ambient or something like that.

You must been at high DA's during your stock run. Because 15.0 @ 92 mph is really slow for a stock G35.

Anyhow, good improvements.

According to Dragtimes my calculated DA was 1248ft for yesterday...don't know about the day I ran the 15.0@92mph though.
