Wheel hop has prevented me from getting decent E.T.'s. At Sacramento Raceway, I trap at 104/105 before the Osiris with 2.1 60ft. It's the wheel hop at the 1-2 shift that kills my E.T.'s.
I wouldn't go anymore if you value the driveshaft. There is no point in it anyway with the wheel hop being a problem because you wont reach maximum potential. That's why I haven't even been yet.

That's because yours weighs about 400 pounds less than the 335i and the 370z weighs even less than yours. It's also the reason why a 335i will probably never be able to pass the 1/4 in 9seconds. Or the GTO which is 3,725lbs I believe and it's horrific for a 2 door coupe. The G37 is about the same.

I would replace both front and rear. I am doing that soon. In the mean time you can get this to reduce wheel hop. I'm getting both. http://my350z.com/forum/product-anno...ial-brace.html
You can also get a transmission mount to improve shifting. http://www.z1auto.com/prodmore.asp?m...ne&prodid=4528

thanks. My rear bushing has already been replaced with an SPL sold bushing. The front bushings are still waiting to be installed.

^Good deal. I'm getting close to preparing the car for the drag strip too. Still need a pair of slicks for the rear and a 6puck carbon clutch.

Also read this thread on how to preload the drivetrain for drag racing. http://my350z.com/forum/forced-induc...ter-axles.html I actually have done that for a while on the street but doesn't work well with a weak clutch.

That's the method I've always used to launch my manual cars at the track.
