Randy, glad to hear you are ok. I was very worried when I saw the thread that your car had come to serious damage. Of course it is a shame the Vette got worked over, but I know you and not him, so there the allegiance has to rest.
I would agree with your friend above. When you want to run it on the track, just grab yourself a set of 17 or 18 inch wheels, and a set of Nitto 555 or BFG drag radials. You will hook up better. Power is nice, but it is all about the tires. Always has been, always will be. The S0-3's are too hard a compound and WAY TOO HEAVY. Get the unsprung weight DOWN, and the location of the weight closer in to the hub center. And you will be noticeably faster even with all other conditions the same.
