Ran the V35 last night and was a little disappointed.
I had 6 runs with a best of 14.53@96.56mph.
It's not so much the time but the fact that in 6 runs I had 4 miss shifts between 2nd and 3rd gear the other 2 runs I had to be careful and take it easy on that upshift.
I'm not the greatest driver in the world but with 13 years of competitive rallying and various motorsport events over 25 years I'm no dummy when it comes to changing gears but for me to do it 4 times in one night is unheard of.
I fitted a Rogue short shift kit a few weeks ago and initially hated it but it loosened up a little but I think it is just not for me (missus hates it too) as it feels shorter but there seems to be a loss of gate definition in my car.
I've got a track night next week so it will be removed before then
I'll post the slip if anyone is interested.
For interest I lost to 3 R32 GTR's an EVO 6.5 and a R33GTS-T(had him on toast but a 2nd to 5th shift doesn't help) and beat a R33GTS-T.
The officials had a Golf cart for moving around and I wanted to run that to have a chance

Mid 14's is nothing to sneeze at for the first time....now you have a benchmark!

Please post your slip(s), and we may be able to assist you infinding a few more tenths.

Get that 60' time down! On a stock setup you should be able to hit a 2.0 60'. A good rule of thumb is for every tenth off your 60 equals 1.5 tenths off the big end of the track.
14.530 with a 2.319 60'

14.080 with a 2.0 60'

A little cooler weather and a 13sec timeslip is yours

A 13 now that would be nice
Temps were coming down. That run was done around 8pm.
About an hour later had a great start until a 2nd to 5th miss shift

Are you sure your shifter plate is adjusted properly? I have the rogue too and found that it is very postive. When the dealer replaced my tranny under warranty, apparently the morons that worked on my car didn't know how to adjust a shifter (afterall, shifters are fairly new to the automotive seen......yes, I am being sarcastic)...anyway, it was extremely sloppy the whole way home and had trouble finding just about every gear, especially 5th. After I adjusted it, it was back to normal which is a big improvement over stock. Still not perfect, but then again the moron behind the wheel (meaning me) isn't either.

Yes, he can improve his sixty. However, I don't recall seeing anyone putting down 2.0 sixties in our cars, NA, on stock tires, without a gearswap. There's plenty of 350z's that do it, but like I said, I just haven't seen it on the g's.

If you have seen timeslips or posts that show otherwise, I'd like to see them please.
