What Size Rim For Drag?

What Is The Smallest Rim You Can Fit On A G With The Sport Package? Some People Say A 16 Inch. Also I Thought Of Just Going With The Stock 18 But With A Bfg 265/40. What Do You Think.

The smaller the wheel the better. I think I remember people saying that older 300ZX wheels work (not sure about brembos) and I could have sworn someone posted about a 15 or 16 inch wheel that cleared brembos. The larger the wheel, the lower the profile tire, the less FOOTPRINT your tire can make. Someone on here went with BF Drags on their 18's so you may want to search and see if he posted feedback. It maybe an inexpensive option suitable for your needs depending on how often you plan to drag.

I run the bfgs on my stock 18's. I can pull a 1.7 60 ft, they are awesome way better than I expected.

Neither yet. I just rev and pop the clutch and spin them as long as I can. I plan on doing the switch, I just want to study it a little more to make sure it doesnt mess stuff up. mrtomcat has that mod a he gets some serious burn outs. Ill probably use what he has.

i had weld prostars 15X8 on my sedan and now on my Z, it will work if you dont have the brembos, i think you have to get them with 5 and 1/2 inch backspacing, i would do a search for that number to make sure

they hook great!!
