As the title states, No. 33 Playboy Racing Nissan 350Z co-drivers Blake Rosser and David Murry outlasted the field of 83 cars to claim victory in Saturday's VIR 200, Round 2 of the 2006 Grand-Am Cup Series.

That was bullsh*t. I have the #77 Ford Mustang that got 2nd. We were leading and easily would have won but on the last lap our team car (#5) hit us off the track and they got by us. It was a pretty crazy race.

 

What do you mean by that? You actually raced at VIR? If so, that's pretty jazzy! I am very pleased the way the Mustangs are performing in the GS class. I watched the race yesterday and you're right, that was a crazy race. I think track officials were confused about what to do with all that was going on. The announcer was commenting on how some of the cars had no chance of seeing the last yellow flag and were wrongly penalized. Had it not been for those penalties, I think Empringham would've won - he was owning the track those last few laps.

So if your teammate is the #5 Mustang, (if I remember correctly) then that means that you are part of the Blackforest Motorsports team, correct? Phenomenal job on the second place win - I have to admit though, I'm more concerned about manufacturing points and until Infiniti participates in GS, I will continue to root for the Mustangs/Ford.
