I just called them, they're saying 6 months to a year to have it completed. lol Can't wait that long, someone is going to make a ton of money if they come out with an upgraded clutch pack soon.

helldorado, I see you're in NJ. Have you had any contact with Level10?

Not personally. I'm holding off on contacting them until I'm ready for a build. At this stage I'm more interested in finding out what my options are for performance rebuild parts so I can determine what I do or don't want. I know they've done great performance rebuilds, but they also have had a spotty record with the Z/G as well.

I heard a rumor that Level 10 does the rebuilds for SGP. No idea how much truth there is to that.

I don't think that is true, I believe level 10 and stillen send their VB's to the same transmission shop. That's what a stillen representative told me.

My transmission is fully taken apart, I have the valve body, tc ready to send out. I'm kind of iffy about Alto maybe I'll do some research on them.

EDIT: I just called Alto, the performance clutch packs won't be ready till August. JEEZ!!! lol

Yeah I've heard the good and the bad. The main contacts there are hard to get a hold of. My TC is a Stage 3 Billet TC. I've only had it for 1500 miles so far, no core charge so I still have my orignal in case something happens. I'm moving 4300+ lbs so I can only beat on the clutchpacks soo much.

Unfortunately, that's why I said there's nothing currently available.

I don't know if anybody really knows who does what. I've heard people say SGP and Stillen use the same shop, Stillen and Level 10 and Level 10 and SGP. The key is they don't manufacture the rebuild parts. So I'm focused on the manufacturers. Get the right parts first, finding a rebuild shop is secondary.

FWIW, our transmission is the RE5R05A. I don't see that on their list.

That's the problem. Raybestos doesn't have any rebuild parts for the RE5R05A listed and Alto is still in development.

Yeah after I spoke with the representative I don't think they have one for our cars. He was scrambling trying to figure out an answer for me, he did get the right transmission code though.

Man this sucks lol I'll have a VB/TC and then the clutch packs will just go out. haha
