tranny and differential fluids

Im changing the differential and tranny fluid on this friday and need some suggestions what type of fluid to put.

I talked to the guys at street image and they told me factory fluids are the best ones to go and the differential fluid from factory is synthetic, is that true?

Also my car takes a lot of beating as far as drag strips and canyon ripping so what would u guys recommend and price is not a issue. Please be specific on oil type and grade.

Thank you.

FYI: I did search and didn't find exact answer to my questions.

Redline diff gear oil/ allready has friction modifier for the LSD. Or you can go with Amsoil but you have to add fiction modifier. 75w90 shoulld be the usual one. I use redline and i like it so far.

You don't need an additive for the lsd. I asked that question here https://g35driver.com/forums/drivetrain/122642-additive-lsd-diff.html I have amsoil in my diff now and there is no chatter.

No don't use that for your tranny. The tranny calls for GL-4, which is for soft metals(copper). The diff uses GL-5, 75w-90 works. GL-4 is hard to find in synthetic, unless you go with the oem fluid(I forget the weight). Good Luck.

I've used 80w-90 synthetic made for lsd's in both the rear diff and tranny on an 03 6mt and had no problems with it.
