5AT Vs. 6MT
Just for kicks I would like to know what is the distribution of 5AT Vs. 6MT, no more. I am not starting another 5AT Vs. 6MT war.

I love my 6 speed. But I'm still so used to a 5 speed that I constantly think that my car is in 4th when in fact it is in 6th. SO I do the 6th to 5th to 6th regularly when I'm driving down the highway. Did anyone else have this problem when they got their first 6 speed.

no but i leave it in 5th sometimes cause i forget i got a 6th ahahahha.

Ditto. Even my work car ('05 RAV4) has an MT. I can't imagine going back to an auto.

i like my auto... im always in traffic so shifting every 3 seconds really bothers me.... lol... besides i would rather get another bike if i want to go fast

I did get used to the 6th gear, but I do find myself skipping gears often. I like to slam my car when getting into the FL Turnpike so I get from 1st to 2nd, then 3rd and by then I am at the speed of traffic and switch straight to 6th to cruise.

5AT..6 spd is stupid unless you are tracking the car.

looking at this poll makes me happy, there are more autos than stick =D. not to mention more than 90% of the people that own g35's that arent on this forum another75% drive auto. w00t

Coming from a 350Z 6MT, I do not regret getting my G35 auto!!! love having the hands free to sip on a drink, answering the phone, etc...and don't get me started on stop and go traffic!
