CVT-M8 Tranny for US Mkt G35s...?

I saw another post describing Infiniti's top-of-the-line CVT-M8 tranny option for the JDM version of the G35 sedan. I wonder if that tranny would bolt-up to a US market G35 sedan, and what other associated parts would need to be swapped-out to make the entire package complete? Anyone know? Please advise. Thank you.

Uhh, that'd be one hell of a swap and ridiculously expensive...And no, I doubt that would just "mate up"...Personally, no thank you to the CVT- I'll keep my manual and mods...

Anything is possible, dude. That is, if you have the money to buy the whole transmission unit- true, it should be a bolt-on- and possibly the ECU that goes with the CVT unit. That'll be awesome if someone on this board attempt this.

My experience with CVT begin and end with the Honda Civic HX. I don't think CVT is ready for prime time yet. the CVT in the HX always slip, I have to replace 3 tranmission with in my 3 years warranty period. Sold the car after the third time.
