When do I need to change that? I have an '05 (non AWD) 5AT sedan w/~45000 miles.

According to the premium schedule every 30K.

I do mine every 15k with Redline 75W90.

^^ what he said!! Oil is a cheap insurance policy! You will be amazed at what is stuck to the drain plug. It is magnetized. Once you see it you will want to change it more often.

Better than spending $2500 [or junkyard takeoff] just after warranty to replace.
Actually most Nissan RWD diffs last 150k [historically Q/J] with mediocre [60k] servicing.
