Chatter when turning G35 MT Off

When I turn off the car with the shifter in nutral, and the cluth out, I get some kind of weird chattering sound. If I push the clutch in, with the shifter in nutral and then turn the car off I do not hear the chatter.

I guess this means there is something wrong with the clutch, or it is near its end? The car has 50k miles.

Is this what it is, or could it be something related to the tranny?

Thanks.

Also, timing CHAIN. Did your last car have a timing belt? Chains make noise.
