New Clutch Masters clutch/flywheel--install w/ pics

A few weeks ago, I was driving home from work and when I shifted from 1st to 2nd, I heard a pop. Then when from 2nd to 3rd, my clutch pedel went all the way to the floor and didn't come back up!

Sure enough...a $9 pivot bolt snapped in half. I had to remove the trans to replace this poorley manufactured bolt (dozens of threads on this site about this). At 70,000 miles, I figured my clutch would soon be on its way out (but had NO problems, slippage, etc. with it--except for the clutch chatter).

I'm already paying to have the trans pulled out, so I ordered a Clutchmasters stage III clutch and alum. flywheel. While the car was at the garage, I ordered new Brembo slotted rotors front and back with new pads (rotors had 70,000 miles on them and pads had 40,000)!!! The brakes just started to squeek, but I never had any pulsation, etc...rotors were shot.

Attached are just a few pics that I took during the install. I accidently deleted the Brembo brake install pictures. Warning to anybody changing out their clutch....CHANGE YOUR PIVOT BOLT TOO!!! ~~~I didn't have time to resize pics or add captions, so sorry for the mess.

I actually got my brembo pads from jason@riverside, and got a great deal. I would say if you have Brembo now, keep them. If regular OEM, then the upgrade to stoptech would be worth it.
