Royal Purple oil/diff/tranny fluid

Anyone else have any experience with royal purple?

I just took my g35 coupe in for a fluid change today on all fluids and bought some royal purple for them to use. (tranny and diff)

didn't use the royal purple oil b/c frankly at $11.99 a quart i thought it was too much. instead I went with mobil 1 10w30 full synthetic.

a diff. topic but does anyone know any good coolant additives for hard driving conditions that they would suggest?

finally does anyone know a good fuel system cleaner to use? the dealer wants $50 to do it and I figured I'd just do it myself.

IMO Royal Purple isn't a bad oil, but for our engines it doesn't justify the added cost considering it has consistently inferior UOAs. I don't know how it is in the diff/tran. I now use German Castrol 0W-30 (gold color), the green is discontinued. Autozone has started carrying it again. If you want to use a fuel system cleaner I would check out BG 44K.

i run royal purple oil in my engine and i think its the shizzznizzle! i am a mechanic and our justice brothers represenative came by and said that they tested royal purple gear oil and it out performed all the others BY ALOT. he stopped just short of saying that it was better than their ''additive'' but basically thats what he said.sooooooooo, royal purple gear oil is probably one of the best you can get. im sold on their products thats for sure.
