Thanks. I did try search first, but it's impossible to find this simple info amongst the huge number of 6MT tranny problem sagas.

As bad as my tranny is in the cold I'd say every 15k miles. But there is different service levels. premium is every 30k for manual and differential. Schedule 1 and 2 don't say to change it(crazy)
Especially change the diff if it has a lsd and it's never been done before

Geez, this is my 3rd tranny. I got it around 18k on my odo. I now have 77k and not once have I changed it. Is it hard to do? Which brand do you recommend to use. I don't have a Infiniti dealership nearby and if I did, I doubt that I would take it to them.

Buy the oil yourself, about 3.5 quarts for the tranny and 1.5 quarts for the differential. I use Amsoil Severe Gear 75w-90. Then go to a Jiffy Lube or something like that and pay them the $40 to drain it and hand pump the new fluid in. It's a PITA.

BTW, buy an extra quart because those numbskulls will waste a quart trying to pump the oil into the tranny one squirt at a time.
