Looking to upgrade the tranny this week-- Need a new VB- anyone know a place that will do it with a core program that actually still does it?

Let me know- I'm pulling the trigger tomorrow.

 

I'm sure you're gonna hear the same from others as well, but you really should use yours to lower the complications. There have been many different 5ATs that have been released.

The downtime is more than worth it.

 

not to sure- probably stillen- unless I find out different- or a reason not to

 

The Stillen won't shift fast enough. Get the GTM or SGP one.

I have the Stillen... Their VB work completely trashed my tranny within seconds of trying to drive the car and they paid 1/3 of the cost of the damages (9K total). Then they fixed the VB and it shifts slower now than it did before. You want more reasons, do a search for "don't buy from Stillen".

Different year transmissions have different VB's. That's why NOBODY offers a core program. Just send it out and get it done.

Oh, and stay the f away from the Stillen VB. Pay the extra couple hundred and go with SGP or GTM like Rookie said.

Just spent 1,000$ on the SGP valve body- You guys better be right!

Mix this with my 3300 stall TQ converter and tranny cooler... I'm all set!

Hey with this VB will it shift in auto mode at WOT or you still have to use the triptronic

 

didn't this car start with an 03 model year? lol... Or am I missing something in the Tranny labeling designations
