Transmission "Pin" that breaks

I had a post up about getting a new clutch and someone recommended i get a pin replaced (like $8) but i cant find the thread anywhere, and im so confused, i know it wasn't a figure of my imagination...

PLS HELP

You should replace.

Pressure Plate
Clutch Disc
Flywheel
Release Bearing
Pilot Bushing
FLywheel Bolts
I would replace the clutch bolts as well most don't
