Question New Fly Wheel+New Clutch/New Pressure Plate= Loud Rattle

Just had a local trans. shop install my new parts I got from www.intensepower.com. JWT lightened fly wheel, FX400 6 pad clutch/pressure plate from clutchmasters. When I drove off from the shop I noticed a loud rattle coming from the car when I started off in first. The noice seems to go away at higher speed. When I am at idle, it sounds like my trans is going to drop right out from under my car. I did read a thread that said I will hear a little noise because of the lightened fly wheel. The noise I am hearing/feeling is more than just "little".

I'm assuming its the rattle/grinding sound of the lightened flywheel. But unless we hear a quality sound clip, there's really no way of telling whether its normal or abnormal.

unfortunately it is normal. you only hear the rattle around 1500rpm right? anything about 2 and its gone. it because the flywheel is half the weight of the stock one so it spins faster. faster spin causes the parts to rattle. something like that.

Thanks for the info. The sound does go away around 2500/3000 rpm.
