OCG35,

Can you elaborate on this? I HATE how my VDC keeps killing the power when I take a turn hard, but don't want to torn it off completely. I'm looking at getting the Carbonetics Carbon LSD. (for the smooth/quiet engagement) I had the Nismo LSD in my 350Z, and it sounded like I was making pop corn whenever I was in a parking lot.

Thanks,

Ian

the LSD will prevent the VDC from kicking in as much, because it won't need to as much.

The 'pop' will happen anytime you make a tight turn while in gear. It means the LSD is working. If you make the same tight turn but have the clutch depressed (out of gear), it won't make the noise. If it worries you, just get a little speed in 1st, and clutch when you turn.

VDC only kicks in when it senses one of the rear tires spinning... it applies brake and cuts power... and LSD helps prevent wheels from spinning so the VDC won’t engage as often... I say "as often" because even with Quaife LSD, sometimes I do have brief wheel spin during heavily spirited cornering - but the VDC is much less obtrusive now with the Quaife.
