Will a 06 350z tranny(6mt) fit in my 03 G35 Sedan(6mt)?

I'm going to be replacing the tranny in my 03 G35 Sedan 6MT. I was wondering if a 2006 350Z tranny would bolt right up with no issues? Does anyone know if the 06 tranny is any better than say an 03 tranny?

There was a change with an added level of synchros that really helped.
I'm not sure when that was though...

are you out of powertrain warranty? if not, this is a problem for your dealer. otherwise, yes the tranny should fit fine.

The car has 89K miles. When does the powertrain warranty expire?

Yes it will fit. Dealer was doing 009 trannys for replacement on a number of cars.

I believe the powertrain expires at 70k miles.
