Traction control/ slip light coming on??

Recently my coupe traction control will kick in when I am going on off an on ramps and exits...I won't have to be speeding and it will kick in and light will come on. The vdc is on it was doing it so someone said turn off the vdc and go through some turns and ramps and see if it does it again and the traction control was kicking in again. I don't see how I am losing traction or and I have new tires I put on a week ag I was told it could be the differential that's causing it. Would this also be covered under the powertrain warranty since my full warranty is over?

Any tips or advice please...thanks guys...its also 04 6mt coupe.

I've been searching and its seems to be because of me adding New rear tires...I am gonna order some new ones today and see if that solves the issue.

does your traction just turn on and turn off or does it stay on the whole time until you turn your car off and turn it back on? I faced 2 issues one that my abs sensor was messed up and the light would turn on along with the abs light and stay on until i turn the car off. Also i bought new Falken 452 245/40/19 for the back and my slip would go on too on ramps until i bought new tires for the front also Falken 452 245/35/19

i think i had 225/30 in front and 245/40 in rear. now im riding 245/40 up front and 255/40 in rear and no problems.

It could be the brake pads. Mine would come on until I got them replaced

I put 2 new rear tires on & mine kicked in on corners I took every day...so I tend to agree with the new tire theory. About 200 miles later it stopped.

That's really weird... I'll have to keep that in mind when I buy new tires.

I have the same problem doing 70ish around mountain roads brand new tires the last 2 times i put new tires it has done it but my worn out stock tires held the roads at about 90-100 no problem. Is this something that will go away with some miles on the tires? I didnt notice it after a while on the first new set but then again i slowed down around the corners after the first couple times.

notice how everyone mentions tires ...
make sure you have proper size / height combination for the staggered wheels.
having extremely different size tires changes the speed betweeen front and rear wheels, which confuses the vdc and trips slip light. correct me if im wrong.

Bringing this back up from the dead. I have really worn rear tires that I just replaced and just got an alignment done from the Nissan dealer by me. Whenever I'm making a sweeping right, the vdc comes on and starts applying brakes. WTF. It's very intrusive and makes it very difficult to drive. My old RB25 S13 didn't have traction control and neither does my 500whp Supra, so it's not like I don't know how to drive without it on. Is it really just the tires? Or brake fluid?

Thanks,
Jeremy
