Throw out bearing and clutch master cyl? Covered by warranty?
So I just picked up an '06 6MT Coupe with 40k miles on it. Very clean car, with every option besides navigation(has sport, premium packages, aero and rear active steer - which seems very nice compared to the others I drove).
After driving it for a couple of days, if the car gets pretty hot, like 30+ minutes of driving which I obviously didn't do during a test drive, the pedal sticks right at the engagement point. I can pick it up after that, but it just sticks right back there the next time I use the clutch. This seems common, so I'm guessing it'll be covered under warranty with little issue.
The other problem that is much more random and concerns me a bit more, is that very seldomly I feel a vibration in the clutch right as the throw out bearing contacts the pressure plate. It's more like a judder or pulsation, mainly felt in the clutch pedal. Can't really hear anything, maybe a slight groan, but it might be in my head. This seems to happen a bit more often when cold, but it's also happened when warm. I'd say it's done it a 4-5 times in about 250-300 miles of driving, so not often at all.
What are the odds Infiniti will give this last problem serious thought? I'm thinking it'll need to be a more major issue before they even consider it a warranty problem, and even then it might be a "wear item," even though a TOB shouldn't be bad at this mileage.
Otherwise the car is absolutely great. I came from a bunch of E36 M3s, so this car is a great GT car in comparison and feels just as fast.

Congrats and welcome! As far as the M/C being under warranty, should be. I don't want to say yes right out and then have it not be. The throw out bearing to my knowledge is not a normal wear item. Usually last a bit longer than the clutch itself so it gets replaced during a clutch service. Maybe last time it was serviced the bearing wasn't replaced and it's bad, who knows.
Either way, when ya bring it in for the M/C mention the bearing, the worst they can say is it isn't covered.
