Guys I went to my Infiniti dealership to have my cruise looked at, because it didn't set for me at times. They said that their is a safety feature set on the new G35 that will not allow it to lock past 70 mph because it would be illegal and over the speed limit. I think they are lying I work for a company that makes cruise control assymblys for all Chrysler vehicles. Plus they gave me a loaner the I30 and I tested it this morning at speeds well over 80mpg, but the I30 would not lock at 90mph. Please get back to me asap, as I am about to call the dealership and I need some evidence or backup that this is in fact not true.

It says in my owners manual the cruise will function between 25 & 89 MPH. If yours won't work above 70 then it's not working right. Good luck.

i believe that there are also a few states that have 75mph speed limit, so 70 would not be max allowed in US.
