Chunks in tranny or differntials

I have an 06x with 30k miles on it. My friend and I changed out both differentials fluid, transfer case and did a drain and fill on the transmission. We were short on storage space for the old fluids so we mixed them all together. When emptying this concoction of fluids we noticed little chunks of this brittle substance. Neither of us were sure what it was and were not able to snap a photo. Does anyone have ideas? I would like to say they were reddish and were hard but brittle if rubbed between your fingers. We know it did not come from the front diff but it could be the rear, transfer case or tranny. I assumed it was the tranny due to the redish color but again all the fluids were mixed so I'm at a loss. I would just like to know if anyone else has seen this or if I should bring it to the dealer and prepare for what they do best...

take a good magnet and see if what sticks. a few particles isn't anything to worry about.

if its not magnetic it will probably be normal wear on the clutch packs.

The drain plug on the diff is magnetic.

We inspected the magnets on all of the drain plugs and this material was not on them. The diffs had some nice goop and the tranny didnt have much of anything. Hoping the material is just the normal wear and tear. Want to shake out all of these problems before my warranty is up.

I'm not an expert but I think the clutch packs in the automatic transmission are exposed to the ATF.

When I drive the car hard I smell an odd burning smell. Could it be related to these chunks in the transmission? Thinking of bringing the car to Infiniti tomorrow, getting paranoid about problems (random suspension noise, possible wheel bearing, and tranny chunks+smell)= pain in my @$$
