hydraulic bushing on differential,

i racked my car at work the other day for an oil change and noticed the hydraulic bushing where the differential links up with that suspension cross member was leaking fluid down the diff cover. and i did notice the car did handle a bit different in the rear as a result. anyone experince this before?

I think it is a seal issue. My car just started doing this as well.

its a hydraulic bushing, which means it is filled with a fluid to dampen vibrations. some how, some way it sprung a leak. there are no seals that could have gone bad. if you think its the diff cover smell the fluid. it doesnt smell like gear oil at all.

Hmm. Ya, I wasn't exactly sure what it was. I was assuming that it was the diff fluid leaking out of the back seal. Is that bushing part of the differential? I'm planning to replace the differential sometime anyways. Looks like I will have to change that out at the same time.
