got the car back no squeak for about 40 miles..Then the squeak came back almost felt like the clutch pedal was binding or sticking not smooth at all. Now the squeak is back and worst than before..

the slave cylinder was replaced by the dealer but the squeak is coming from under the car by the tranny. I ask a local mechanic he said the fork might greasing.

My question is where is the fork and how do you grease it?

I have the take the car back to the dealer which is 1.5hrs away.

I've been having this problem too lately, and I just got my clutch replaced at 80K, the squeaking is annoying me, I thought I needed to do a tranny flush, but I guess its the slave cylinder?

Update us when you get done with your warranty work, again. I have elite warranty too.

Rastaman: You can check this thread:

http://my350z.com/forum/maintenance-...the-car-3.html

There are some pictures on the second page.

I am surprised (or maybe not) that you still have the squeak after replacing your slave cylinder. As for greasing fork, I would first take it back to dealer to see what causing the noise. Greasing the fork usually will give you temporary relieve but as soon as it burns out, the squeak will be back.

Keep us updated.

yes that is where my squeak is from..My original squeak went away when the slave cylinder was replaced but then this new squeak started..not sure why but I will take it back just to be safe. I don't want to spray any grease then the dealer blames me for efing my trany up.

Yeah, it would probably be temporary if you grease it. Hopefully they will be able to find out after dropping it. Let us know what happens.

yep they confirmed it needed greaseing (not covered) they also found a bad throw out bearing (covered) dealer claims it is a maintannce issue to grease the fork..I hope they could be kind to cover the lack of grease on the fork after all how do you maintain that? just blast grease in the bell housing? waiting to hear back..

Hopefully they will.

Let us know if it solves the problem permanently (as in no squeak after 1-3 weeks).
