Aftermarket clutch line question

I ordered a stainless steel clutch line from Import Parts Pro about a week ago. I haven't had a chance to install it yet, but when looking at both the g35 service manual and the Nismo s/s clutch line, they both have an L-shaped extension off the banjo bolt (see the right hand side of the hose here http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e1...1/IMG_0484.jpg).

On the other hand, the line I received is basically smooth on the banjo end, with no extension at all. (The line basically looks exactly like the line for sale in this ad: https://g35driver.com/forums/drivetr...line-bnip.html). What does that L-shaped extension do, and can I get away with using this line or do I need to return it and basically go with the Nismo line?

Sorry for not being able to conveniently host the pics in the thread, but I am a tech noob .

You don't need the L-thing. Its only purpose is so the line doesn't move when you bolt it on.
