Question about JWT Clutch Kit

Do you have to buy the flywheel? or can you just go with the JWT Clutch Kit... that comes w/ the pressure plate... I'm short on cash these days, but it definately needs to be done. I'm not looking for anything spectacular, close to OEM if possible. Any help would be appreciated.

good deal?

also the dealership said it would sell an OEM one for $460, is that any good?... I don't know crap about cars but I love my G.

$775 for the clutch, flywheel, pivot ball, SS clutch line, and bearing.
Thats what we installed in my friends Z. Better value to get those upgrades at the same time especially since you are in there anyways.

I've got that combo, which I got from them, on my G and love it.

You are better off changing the flywheel at the same time even though it costs a little more. When its time to change the flywheel it is going to be ~$400-500 in just labor again. Save yourself that extra labor.

It worth noting that the stock flywheel is dual-mass and thus isn't easily resurfaced. In fact many machinsts will not resurface dual-mass flywheels at all. That being said I suggest replacing the flywheel when you are replacing the clutch. And I strongly recommend reusing the stock flywheel even if it "looks ok" because after thousands of miles of use no matter how "ok" it may appear...it isn't flat as a result of use and this would cause reduced life expectency, capacity and a greater potential for chatter when used with a new clutch. I hope this info helps. As a side note we offer 7 different clutch options for the Z/G as well as steel and aluminum flywheels too. Let me know if you have any further questions. Thanks,
