whats the most hp/tq you pushed before stock clutch slipping?

I wanted to know what is the most power a stock clutch can handle?

my oem clutch started to slip at 65k with no mods. I replaced it with a exedy oem replacement. I got about 15k on it now but my motor will be comming out so the labor for a new clutch will be free. My new set up will have about 310 whp and im guessing 270 tq?

Do you think if i kept my oem one that i have will be able to handle the power? or what do you reccomend. I am on a budget and trying to stay away from pucks so it would be stage 1 or 2 at most.

TIA

OEM should handle that no problem

I know a few people that have been running nitrous 150 shot on stock clutch(360HP/400TQ ish) and they are doing fine.

thanks for the fast response, would you recommend to put a new oem clutch again since i have about 15k on mine. and the labor is free.

what are your thoughts about replacing with a act disk but keeping my pressure plate?

if it doesn't need to be replaced I'd wait til it does.

When it does there are tons of options. You'll have to choose what route is best for you.

I would change the pressure plate at the same time you do the clutch.
