clutch pivot ball failure rate on CD009

im getting my trans replaced under warranty next week and im putting in a spec stg 1 clutch and am curious what the failure rate is on the pivot ball is on the CD009 trans. I read that there was a high failure rate on the 2003 z with the longer pivot ball, but does it fail too if an aftermarket clutch is installed, or is that problem taken care of by the shorter pivot ball
