ugent help, replacing coolant fan
fan on driver side which attached to radiator is not working, is it coolant fan? if so, how do i replace it? do i need to take out the radiator in order to change it? is there a link or an article for this? thanks guys
Both fans should run or stop together.
I had the dealer to mine under warranty (at 98K), they did not remove the radiator but took off the top hose and seemed to move it forward and bend everything out of the way to get it in there.
Be careful not to bend the AC lines too much coming from the condenser - they are aluminum and don't like being bent more than necessary.
They had to remove the air box and unbolt the A/C line (I know this becuase they left the bolts out)
