Automatic Tranny Flush / Fluids

I know that Nissan is very sticky about only using their Nissan J fluid for Automatic Transmissions. I think the only other manufacturer that makes a J spec fluid is BG.

Given the limited number of places that can do a J Matic fluid flush, I just wondered about other options.

There are many that argue that because of the limited number of refineries out there, the J fluid is likely a re-labelled version of the standard Synthetic fluid.

I spoke with someone that suggested the Wynn Flush that is fairly popular and widely used. Has anyone else ever tried this in their Nissans? The Wynn rep says their synthetic is definitely compatible, but of course he's likely biased.

According to their Product Spec sheet, amongst their recommended applications are Nissan/Infiniti vehicles.

I'm likely going to do the Nissan flush to be safe, but I just thought I'd spark some comment from others.

I ran Redline D4 in my Vortech G Coupe (valve body kit + high stall converter) and HATED it!

I recommend using S/J matic.
