AWD Question

Anyone know what the AWD service performed by the dealer consists of? The dealer recomended that I have it done. I see the diy for the rear diff and it looks pretty simple and was thinking of just doing it myself, but was just curious to what the dealer includes in there service. I'm guessing rear diff, transfer case, and front diff if there is one? Anyone have a diy for the transfer case? One other question, when doing the awd service is it necessary to do a transmission flush at the same time? Thanks in advance!

The info you need is in the factory service manual, which you can find here: https://g35driver.com/forums/faq-diy...e-manuals.html

There is not a specific checklist for AWD service; you just have to look at the maintenance items that apply to the AWD system. Basically inspect front & rear diffs, front & rear prop shafts, and transfer case for damage and leaks. Then drain and fill diffs and transfer case. No need to do the transmission at the same time. DIY doesn't get much easier than drain and fill, so yes you should do it yourself.
