Redline Transmission Fluid - NEW Product

Getting ready to change my transmission fluid soon. Does anybody have any experience with Redline's MT85? Looks like its only been our since last fall and is targeted for the nissan 6mt transmission.

Cool. Hopefully it shifts more smoothly than the 2 parts MT-90 to 1 part MTL that is in my transmission. I have had good experiences with Redline in other vehicles, but not in the G.

it looks promising.
I've been using MT-90 on all of my Nissans/Infiniti since forever.

It's GL-4 so it's safe for all yellow metal like our bronze/brass/copper synchro.

I've read a few threads with guys mixing the MT90 and MTL...I guess this bridges that gap.

Don't put manual transmission fluid (e.g. MTL, MT-90, MT-85) in the diff or diff fluid in the tranny. Manual transmission fluid is designed to allow the synchros to do their job and diff fluid is designed to let the limited-slip diff do its job. http://www.redlineoil.com

Nice! I'm using MT-90 now and it's a bitch to get into 2nd on -12C mornings. Maybe this new stuff with half a bottle of lightweight shockproof is just what I need.

So, Deepdiver, did you change your tranny fluid yet with the new Redline stuff? If so, what do you think?

nope not yet. I am currently running the MT90 (slightly notchy during the first 10 minutes of a cold morning)...am looking forward to giving the MT85 a try.

I've been using the MT90 and MTL mix, maybe this will help with that cold morning notchy feel.

The LSD in our cars are VLSD, diff fluid is not involved.

I just scooped some 85 for the tranny and 75w90 for the differential. Hoping to do the swap in the next two weeks.
