Haven't heard that one before, but I'm sure you wont have a hard time finding someone to swap.

theres a few threads on here that talk about it, it has been done but costs a butt ton of money and its not worth it at all. your better off sellin your auto and buyin a 6mt.

Not worth it, post an ad local to you asking someone to trade cars. Good chances you'll find someone willing to trade their auto car in better shape and less kms because they made the "mistake" of buying auto.

In terms of resale, you'll get a lot of skepticism with people wondering why it has a swapped transmission and probably hurt the resale pretty badly.

Instead of being poons about it look at it like this.
1. Maybe he's tired of driving stick, I sure as **** am.
2. Maybe he just broke his ribs and can't do it anymore.
3. Maybe he's buying a porsche and is giving the G to his wife/son/daughter who doesn't want to drive stick.
4. Maybe he realized that the G/Z is one of the most uncomfortable cars with a 6mt transmission.. I know I have as well.

Don't make this thread into a 6mt>5at thread.

He wants to swap Manual to Auto.

O.P. It's possible, but probably pretty expensive and not worth the time/money.

just trade it in. you might even make money on the deal. There's a higher premium for manual g35's on the used car market.

I broke 4 ribs in a soccer game when I was looking at buying cars.

Went with an automatic.
Oh well, I live in a city and would probably hate myself for buying a stick.

Actually I love my G 5AT, my Z is the uncomfortable 6mt. But my Acura is the most comfortable 5speed I've ever driven.

I also happen to love the comfort of the front seat in the Roush I recently had the pleasure to enjoy...
